In the essay Women’s Business, Ilene Kantrov describes about some women from the United States of America, who became successful in their businesses. The essay portraits the business of Lydia Pinkham and tells about others business women, who followed Lydia’s Pinkham footsteps in America. In America, there was the male business environment, but some women raised themselves with some female issues and became famous entrepreneurs. They disguised their businesses with social services and female issues, but their main purpose behind this was to earn money. The main leading figure among many American business women was Lydia Pinkham. She established a consultation centre for women and advised them to use her products to solve some problems. Following the same path, other women also established their businesses. Margaret Rudkin began to sell healthy food. Similarly, Jennie Grossinger established a resort for homely care and food with entertainment. Likewise, Gertrude Muller sold things to help people look after their babies. In the same way, Helena Rubenstein and Elizabeth Arden served their class by serving them with free booklets and advice about yoga and hygiene, but they were mainly focused on profit only. In the same manner, Annie Turnbo Malone, who was an African, sold hair-chemicals and began to train people how to use her products. These women always encouraged females to go to female doctors and take guidance from them. In fact, they wanted to earn much money, but they always tried to prove that they were working for the betterment of females.
